Band saw blades bimetal M 42

This band saw blade consists of two materials : the tooth tips are made of alloyed HSS (high speed steel) with 8% cobalt while the support band is made of high-alloyed spring band steel. After heat treatment, the wear-resisting tooth tips have a hardness of approx. 67-69 HRc. The high speed steel is connected to the support band through state-of-the-art technology.

Recommended use

For cutting all usual types of steel up to a hardness of 45 HRc.

Delivery forms

  • Coils of 30 m (6x0,6mm up to 20x0,9mm)
  • Coils of approx. 50-75-100 m, depending on band width

Band saw blades bimetal M 42 HS

This band saw blade has a wider setting as well as a modified tooth profile. This prevents the saw blade from jamming in the cutting channel and makes it more insensitive to vibrations.

Recommended use

  • For cutting I-beams and profiles which are high tensioned.

Band saw blades bimetal M 42 Novum

This band saw blade is a further development of the JUNIOR bimetal band saw blade M 42. Thanks to a downstream grinding process, the band has teeth with very exacting height tolerances. The pre- and finishing cutter geometry results in a better chip division and more reliable free cutting of the blade. Due to its special tooth geometry, this band saw blade replaces HSS quality M 51, which is occasionally used.

Recommended use

This band saw blade is particularly suited for cutting high and highest alloyed steels, such as austenitic steels (for example stainless steels), heat resistant alloys, titanium, nimonic alloy, Hastelloy, and Inconel.

Band saw blades bimetal Matrix 2

Apart from our standard quality M42, we produce the HSS quality Matrix 2. This quality is characterized by small-grained carbides, which results in high toughness of tooth tips with a good capacity of resistance to wear.

Recommended use

This quality is particularly well suited for vibration prone cutting of thin-walled tubes and profiles as well as bundle cutting. The cobalt content of 8% also ensures thermal resistance to wear.

Band saw blades bimetal M 42 Plus

A style like Bi M 42 but with a positive rake angle of the tooth tips of 16°. This rake angle leads to an aggressive cut of the band saw blade resulting in easier cutting.

Recommended use

Therefore particularly suited for cutting stainless and acid-resisting steels.

This quality combines the benefits of the M 42 Novum Band saw blade with those of the Plus blade, resulting in quieter cutting and a smooth cut surface.

Recommended use

For highest alloyed and stainless steels, heat-resistant alloys, nickel alloys and titanium.

Band saw blades HM-Power

The JUNIOR-HM Power band saw blade with non-set tungsten carbide tipped tooth tips is very heat- and wear-resistant in the tooth tips. The backing material is highly flexible, offering good preconditions for best cutting rates at highest economic efficiency.

Recommended use

For hardened steels up to 63 HRc, titanium alloys, non-ferrous metals and non-metallic materials.

Band saw blades TCG-Special

This band saw blade consits of a highly flexible support band upon which a large number of tungsten carbide grains have been applied. We offer a continuously gritted type (D), and an intermittently gritted type (U) where the grains have been applied to individual segments.

Recommended use

For cables, wires, tires, composites, ceramic metarials and very hard, abrasive and laminated materials.

Carbon band saw blades, Swedish Special steel (Hardback)

Specially developed special steel (higher alloyed tool steel) with a tooth tip hardness of approx. 64-65 HRc and hardened and tempered backing material. Therefore increased cutting rates and better edge retention.

Recommended use

Better quality compared with the original Swedish steel quality, therefore suited for universal workshop use.
